EurOMA 2025 – Gestão de Operações e Multidisciplinaridade em Tempos de Grandes Desafios
The EurOMA 2025 congress, the leading European event in the field of Operations Management, had as its central theme "Operations Management opening to multidisciplinarity in a time of grand challenges". The focus was on promoting a more interdisciplinary approach to operations management, reflecting on the complex challenges impacting supply chains, sustainability, and digital transformation.
Researchers from CENPRO (Center for Research in Production) presented the work entitled:

The presentation addressed how these emerging technologies are transforming supply chain dynamics, strengthening aspects such as traceability, transparency, and decentralization.
The event took place between June 13 and 18, 2025, in Milan, Italy, hosted by the Politecnico di Milano – Campus Bovisa, with particular emphasis on the Aula De Carli building, where the plenary sessions were held.


IFAC MIM 2025 – Research and Innovation in Manufacturing and Logistics for a Better World
The 11th IFAC Conference on Manufacturing Modelling, Management and Control (IFAC MIM 2025) had as its central theme "Research and Innovation on Manufacturing and Logistics for a Better World," featuring the motto "Be the impact! Make a better world." The conference brought together researchers and industry professionals to debate emerging methods in manufacturing and logistics, with a focus on high-impact social innovation.
Discussions covered areas such as modeling, management, and control in manufacturing and logistics; digitalization, automation, robotics, decision-making methods, and sustainable supply chains. Key trends highlighted included the use of generative artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, circular economy, and human-machine cooperation.
Researchers from CENPRO (Center for Research in Production) presented the paper titled: “Circular Supply Chains: Blockchain’s Role in Remanufacturing Efficiency.” The research demonstrates how blockchain technology can make circular supply chains more efficient, reliable, and sustainable, addressing global challenges of digitalization, innovation, and environmental impact—core themes of IFAC MIM 2025.
The conference took place from June 30 to July 3, 2025, at the Clarion Hotel in Trondheim, Norway.


IJCIEOM 2025 – Industrial Engineering and Operations Management for a Sustainable Future
The 31st International Joint Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IJCIEOM 2025) was themed “Redesigning industrial systems towards a Sustainable, Resilient, and Human-Centric future in the digital era.” The conference aimed to promote dialogue between academia and industry, discussing the challenges of digitalization, sustainability, and resilience in industrial and operations systems.
The areas covered included Industry 4.0/5.0, logistics and transportation, circular economy, artificial intelligence applied to management, human-centric automation, sustainable production systems, and decision-making methods.
The event was held from June 23 to 25, 2025, at the Polytechnic University of Bari (Politecnico di Bari), Italy, bringing together researchers and professionals from different countries to share knowledge and foster innovation in industrial engineering and operations.
All approved papers will be published by Springer and indexed in Scopus, reinforcing the conference's scientific and academic impact.
